Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Exercise strong electrical, electronics and software intuition to apply fundamentals in practice.
• Architect and develop cutting-edge electronic and electrical systems for AMR/AGV according to the specifications and budget.
• Produce AMR/AGV  wiring diagram, responsible for component selection and software integration.
• Work closely with multi-functional teams including PCB development team, Mechanical design team, Production and Quality Assurance team.
• Document design requirements, calculations and validation results.
• Increase efficiency, and reduce waste wherever and whenever possible.
• Develop specifications and accelerated test plans to validate the product.
• Work with the engineering team to assemble prototype products and robots.
• Take full responsibility for the robots and machines.
• Utilize schematics and wiring diagrams to build the electrical control systems.

  • Develop and maintain test automation systems to streamline repetitive tasks.
• Test Reporting:
  • Document and analyze test results with a focus on AMR-specific performance metrics such as localization accuracy, path planning efficiency, obstacle avoidance, and battery performance.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for design improvements based on test outcomes.
  • Maintain comprehensive test documentation for compliance with industry standards.
• FMEA Leadership:
  • Conduct FMEA for AMR systems to assess potential failure points across mechanical, electrical, and software components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address identified risks, ensuring robust and fail-safe designs.
  • Update and manage FMEA documentation to reflect design changes and continuous improvement efforts.
• Process Improvement:
  • Innovate and implement new testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks for robotics applications.
  • Stay updated on advancements in robotics testing, AMR regulations, and standards (e.g., ISO 3691-4 for AMRs).
  • Drive initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency, reliability, and repeatability of testing processes.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with robotics engineers, software developers, and hardware designers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of AMR systems.
  • Support troubleshooting and debugging of AMR hardware/software issues during testing and deployment phases.

Train team members and stakeholders on AMR testing techniques and best practices.

• Product Customization – Customize and configure the solutions to suit client needs, ensuring seamless integration into their existing systems and processes.
• Training and Education – Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams to enhance understanding and proficiency with DF Automation & Robotics products.
• Problem Resolution – Diagnose and resolve technical issues, either remotely or on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations.
